The children who attend the Roof of Africa school live in poverty and without our school wouldn't receive an education and the opportunity to break that cycle for their generation and those to follow. As a grassroots charity, we raise every penny to run the school and one of the ways supporters can help is to sponsor one of the pupils.
For £25.00 a month, all the school related costs for a child are covered.
This includes:
A full time place at The Roof of Africa school, our English medium school
2 hot meals a day, for breakfast and lunch
A starter pack of school supplies including jotters and stationary
A school bag
A school uniform and shoes
There are many children who still need a sponsor, will you be one of them?
Sponsors receive updates twice a year with details of how their child is getting on, and there is also the option to write letters, or send video messages, to your sponsored child/children
The Roof of Africa understands that the children's physical and mental wellbeing isn't just confined to school and we do everything in our power to support the families and community as a whole. Some children are living in very challenging situations and for those in particular, we provide additional help for the household.
