Careen
Careen
Careen is our first primary graduate who is now attending secondary school.
Careen has successfully graduated from primary school, marking a significant milestone in her educational journey. She is now enrolled in a nearby secondary school while we work diligently towards establishing our own secondary education institution through The Roof of Africa.
The assistance of £25 that she continues to receive is not just about financial aid; it’s a catalyst that jumpstarts her secondary education, paving the way for a brighter future.
The cost for Careen's secondary education is £59 per month. This funding will ensure that she maintains the support necessary for her studies, guarding against the challenges girls face in Sub-Saharan Africa. With this financial backing, Careen can focus on her education rather than the threat of early marriage, teenage pregnancy, and the various forms of violence and misfortune that disproportionately target young girls in her community.
Every contribution made towards her education helps build a protective barrier around her, allowing her to thrive and realise her potential. In supporting Careen, you are making an investment not only in her future but also in the advancement of girls’ education and empowerment in Africa. Your help today shapes tomorrow.
Her favorite color is red and she like to jump rope. she has dreams to become a lawyer someday in the future.
Her grandmother earns very little and is looking for a sponsor to help pay for food costs. Family Sponsorship will provide a monthly food parcel to the family.
