become a sponsor
There are many opportunities to become a sponsor at The Roof of Africa. Whether it’s sponsoring a child, paying a teacher’s salary or buying school resources, every single sponsor plays a vital role to the school’s success. You can also choose to purchase an item as a gift, whether it’s a birthday, Christmas or even Wedding gift. It’s the perfect way to give a gift that lasts a lifetime
Donate
There’s lots of ways you can donate, whether it’s a one-off or a monthly amount (can be as little as £2 a month).
All public donations are used for the day to day running costs of the charity sent straight to the school to help cover running costs, including teacher’s salaries, classroom equipment and the school meals. Alternatively, you can specify how you would like to support us by picking one of the sponsor options available.
Monthly donations provide the charity with stability and the ability to plan ahead. You can set up a monthly donation in two minutes, for as little as £2 a month.
Fundraise
The great thing about fundraising is the ‘fun’ bit. Whether you do it as a family, school, community group or your fabulous friends, you can do anything from a sponsored walk, climb, run or swim. Or perhaps you’ll organise an on-line event or a book/cake sale. Perhaps you could even get that certain someone to do a sponsored silence – and you’ll get some peace 😊
There’s also the opportunity to set up a birthday fundraiser on Facebook and again every penny will go to the school and the children.
We can provide support, assist with promotional materials and shout about your event on our website and social media pages.
Set up your fundraising page, or drop us an email at info@theroofofafrica.org– we look forward to hearing your ideas.

LEAVE A GIFT IN YOUR WILL
It's not a subject many people are comfortable talking about but the truth is leaving a gift in your will to a charity of your choice can play a vital role in that charity's future.
This is especially the case for grassroots charities like ours, as we have no paid administration staff, so we can't provide some of the supporter services that large charities do. However, that doesn't mean we can't benefit. When it comes to the time to write your will, please consider us and feel free to get in touch if you need any further information from us.
