Cinthian

Cinthian
My name is Cinthian; I am 11 years old and currently in Primary Five. I live with my grandmother, and we face the harsh realities of abject poverty. A few years ago, I sat for my Primary Four exams and performed well, which has put me on a path to completing my primary education. I hope to make it to university one day and help myself, my mother, and my community rise out of poverty.
My education sponsorship costs £25 a month, or £300 annually. To fully complete my primary education, I need £600. In addition to educational expenses, my family requires support for basic needs. A monthly food parcel costs £90, while a cash transfer of £50 would enable my grandmother to address our immediate necessities. Unfortunately, there is no income-generating activity possible for my ageing grandmother.
My recent exam results show my dedication to learning:
Kiswahili: A
English: A
Social Studies: A
Maths: C
Science and Technology: B
Civics and Ethics: B
By sponsoring my education, you not only support my learning but also empower me to avoid early pregnancy, marriage, and other dangers that often target young girls in sub-Saharan Africa. Your support can truly change my life. Thank you for considering helping me on my journey.
